人の言説をきちんと理解することは必ずしも容易なことじゃないが、それを心がけることが言論人の最低限の務めだ。
その上で、その言説に賛成か反対か等を典拠に基づき明らかにして欲しい。

（コラム#4374に関し）昨日から未公開コラムで、出来悪の英国の外交官であったサンソムについて書いているが、当時の日本の外交官連中の出来悪度はその比ではない。
サンソムの日本論程度のイギリス論ないし米国論を書いた者すら耳にしない。

独裁政権vs無辜の民衆・民主化・狂人カダフィという言葉に踊らされていると表層的な捉え方しかできない

ベンガジ（かつっての首都）から火があがり、この都市に対する苛烈な鎮圧は何故なのか。
「民主化」の看板をあげ、自分達の立場を正当化するレトリックとして、「反独裁」「正義と民主化」のメッセージを流布している。
カダフィを擁護するワケでは無いけど、リビアの現状…人口600万人で公務員100万人、驚くほどの物価の安さ、潤沢なオイルマネー・・・・。
で、リビアの失業率の高さは、「職がない＝働けない」のではなく「働きたくない」若者の多さに起因し、産油国全般で見られることですが、肉体を酷使する重労働はアジアやアフリカからの移民に任せ、英語や専門知識も持たないままにホワイトカラーの仕事を求め、就職もせずに日々を送る若者がほとんどです。
日本の糞ニートと同じですね。

社会変革運動の中心になるのは、いつの時代、世界のどこでも、相対的には恵まれた人々さ。
そういう人々が、命を省みずに立ち上がるわけだ。
社会の底辺にいる人々は、立ち上がる気力もロジも、そして何よりも情報もないからね。
