<太田>

http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E6%83%A3%E6%9D%91

http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%90%89%E9%87%8E%E3%83%B6%E9%87%8C%E9%81%BA%E8%B7%A1

http://www1.odn.ne.jp/drinkcat/topic/column/depot/z_tawago/z_chinou.html

<太田>

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligence_quotient
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E7%9F%A5%E8%83%BD%E6%8C%87%E6%95%B0

 ・・・while many American companies have been content to transfer work to, say, an Indian outsourcing company staffed with English-speaking Indians, Japanese companies are taking a different tack. Japanese outsourcers are hiring Japanese workers to do the jobs overseas ? and paying them considerably less than if they were working in Japan.
 Japanese outsourcers like Transcosmos and Masterpiece have set up call centers, data-entry offices and technical support operations staffed by Japanese workers in cities like Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong and Taipei.
 Such outposts cater to Japanese employers who say they cannot do without Japanese workers for reasons of language and culture. Even foreign citizens with a good command of the Japanese language, they say, may not be equipped with a sufficiently nuanced understanding of the manners and politesse that Japanese customers often demand. ・・・
 ・・・there was a net outflow of 100,000 Japanese in the year that ended in September 2008, the most recent for which statistics were available. It was the highest number in the past 20 years.
 While the number of workers sent overseas by Japanese companies on traditional expatriate packages fell 0.32 percent in the same period, the number of “independent businesspeople” and freelance contractors like Ms. Natori rose 5.69 percent・・・

Wang Peiying, a widow with seven children, was a worker at the Ministry of Railways. The famine precipitated by the Great Leap Forward(大躍進政策), which killed perhaps 30 million people by the early 1960s, had horrified her, and as <文化大革命の>political turmoil began again only a few years later, she publicly called on China’s leader, Mao Zedong(毛沢東), to take responsibility for his mistakes and resign.
 Ms. Wang was sent to a psychiatric hospital and drugged. Released and paraded around the capital, she refused to recant. Instead, she repeated her accusations. Her jaw was broken to stop her from talking. After a mass trial at the Workers’ Stadium on Jan. 27, 1970, she was executed. ・・・
 While the Cultural Revolution(文化大革命) is not a taboo subject per se, to this day research and writings are strictly controlled.

Even today, centuries after Cardinal Robert Bellarmine, the pope’s theological watchdog, had Galileo arrested for preaching Copernicanism(コペルニクス主義), the church has never quite managed to acknowledge that his heliocentric theory(太陽中心説) is correct. (For his part, Cardinal Bellarmine was made a saint in 1930.) ・・・
 In 1992, John Paul(ヨハネ・パウロ2世) praised Galileo for inventing the scientific method and said that the theologians of the day had erred in thinking that they should read sacred Scripture(聖書) literally. He called the Galileo case one in which “a tragic, reciprocal incomprehension was interpreted as the reflection of a fundamental opposition between science and faith.” ・・・
