http://edition.cnn.com/2016/02/24/opinions/trump-will-be-republican-nominee-robbins/index.htm

<MH>

 --クリントン対サンダース--

John "Shooter"Harrell

Ozzy:

 Hillary looks great after weekend of dancing and drinking beer during Colombian diplomatic summit (but is caught stifling a yawn)
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2130759/Hillary-Clinton-looks-great-weekend-dancing-drinking-Colombian-diplomatic-summit.html

<太田>

 Is Donald Trump a Populist?--Or is he just popular?

On the one hand, his call to deport 11 million immigrants who are here illegally, his support for a ban on the entry of Muslims into the United States, his invocation of law-and-order themes and emphatic support for the police, his endorsement of even rougher treatment of terrorism suspects -- all speak to an authoritarian side of Trump’s appeal that clearly resonates with many on the Republican right.
 But Trump embraces positions on economics and foreign policy anathema to most conservative politicians. He is an ardent critic of recent free-trade agreements, opposes cuts to Social Security and Medicare, has been even more vocal than many Democrats in criticizing President George W. Bush and the Iraq War, and even endorses the Democrats’ long-standing call for government negotiations with pharmaceutical companies to drive down drug costs.

The key lies in that rejection of conservative economic and fiscal orthodoxy (except in his endorsement of big tax cuts). But unlike Democrats, Trump is a sharp critic of illegal immigration, multiculturalism and “political correctness.” This is why dreams of a populist alliance between supporters of Trump and Bernie Sanders will be stillborn・・・

 The Trump-Sanders Fantasy
 The electorates of Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders overlap in four important ways.
 Both candidates have tapped into the frustration of those stuck on the middle and bottom rungs of the economic ladder.
 Both reject the free trade agreements of the past two decades, including the pending Trans-Pacific Partnership, the largest trade deal in a generation.
 Both reject mechanisms to limit spending on Social Security and Medicare — and each supports his own version of “health care for all” (although Trump has issued contradictory statements).
 Both reject the use of super PACs to raise large political contributions and are convinced that politicians in Washington have sold out to powerful interests that contribute huge sums to campaigns.
 Their political personalities are radically different・・・. Sanders’s supporters are “bleeding heart” liberals, “while Trump supporters have a personality style that is closer to the prototypical authoritarian pattern.” Haidt saw other key differences:the moral narratives that they believe in, about America, and how we got here, and what we must do to get out, are completely incompatible, except for a shared sense that the elites are corrupt.・・・

There isn’t one black America, but two: The children of the Great Migration and the children of those who stayed behind in the South.・・・
Sanders still has a chance, but it’s getting increasingly narrow even as his popularity grows. And Clinton’s Southern roots, relationships and seemingly superior understanding of regional sensibilities gives her a built-in advantage.
