東京大は昨年の23位から43位へと順位を大きく落とし、昨年のアジア首位から３位に転落。
昨年25位のシンガポール国立大が26位に順位を落としながらも同誌ランキングで初めてアジア首位になった。…
１位は５年連続で米カリフォルニア工科大。英オックスフォード大、米スタンフォード大が続き、上位10校中９校を米英の大学が占めた。

私の両母校の差が極端になってきたな。
複数の格付で東大を含む日本の大学の凋落は明白。
つまるところは、経済停滞/資金不足と人口減少/開国度不足か。

出来のいい孫を持つと成長が楽しみで、自分も長生きしたくなりますし、出来の悪い孫を持つと笑い話が尽きず、会話の潤滑油になります。
どっちに転んでも、孫は多ければ多いほど楽しい人生が送れます。
この楽しみばかりはいくらお金があっても買えません。
