そこで、NYタイムスに投降した二つの文章をくっつけ、若干の補修と追加を行って、今度はワシントンポストに投稿しようとしたが、zipコードの記入を求められ、うまくいかないので、zipコードの記入の仕方を聞きがてら、下掲の投稿案もくっつけて、editor宛てにメールを送ったが、返事がこない。
この投稿案は、私の名前を明記すれば皆さん自由に使っていいから、今後米国のメディアで慰安婦問題でトンデモ記事が載ったら、この全部または一部を引用する形で反論を加えてもらえるとありがたい。
米国の主要メディアが慰安婦問題で歪められた情報を垂れ流すことになったのも我が外務省の責任だし、最近、この種記事に対して反論を公的私的に加えないというのも外務省の責任だ。
黙っている方が波風が立たなくて得策だなんてことはありえない。
心ある日本の外交官達の奮起を促したい。
（これは、日本のためだけではなく、米国のためでもある。
相互不信の芽を小さいうちに一つ一つつぶしていかないと、戦前のように日米間の不信感が膨れ上がって取り返しのつかないことになりかねないぜ。）
Up to the end of WWII, Koreans were Japanese citizens.
They were treated equally.
For example, all Korean Japanese (male adult) citizens also had voting rights in national elections held in mainland Japan. Whereas all Japanese citizens living in the Korean Peninsula had no voting rights in national elections.
（A Korean Japanese was elected as a MP as early as 1932.

Whereas in the US, blacks within the Southern states virtually had no rights to vote until 1965.

Brothels were established around Japanese garrisons to prevent the rape of Chinese women committed by Japanese soldiers, rampant since the beginning of the Sino-Japanese war.
Brothels were legal at that time in Japan.
In fact, brothel culture flourished and prostitutes could become highly esteemed idols in Japan, especially during the Edo period, the reason why ukiyoe (wood print) grand masters liked to draw prostitutes.
Comfort women (CW), i.e. prostitutes, were recruited mainly from Japanese citizens, which meant from both 'Japanese' Japanese as well as Korean Japanese.
There is not a single 'Japanese' Japanese ex-CW claiming coercive recruitment by the Japanese government.
And there is not a single written document or valid third party testimony proving any coercive recruitment of the CW by the Japanese government.
Testimony of the ex-Korean Japanese CW or any other woman herself based on her memory alone is usually deemed not reliable enough.
Consider these facts, shared not only by the ‘far right’as well as prime minister Abe but virtually all Japanese people, before making judgments of your own on this issue.
Subscribers, don’t believe everything American politicians and media, even including this paper, say on foreign affairs.
American elites are not terribly good at understanding foreign countries, including the ‘hearts and minds’ of the foreign people.
Remember how America performed awfully during the occupation of Iraq.
So be careful especially when you talk about issues such as CW problem of which you are a third party and don’t know much about.
In addition to this, white Americans had been genuine racists at least until very recently.
So you can easily infer from above that American government in the 1940s had a seriously skewed view on Asia including Japan where colored people lived.
Pacific War, Communist China’s takeover of the mainland China, Korean War, Vietnam War, North Korean gulag etc. are the tragic results of this skewed view.
