張芸謀監督、章子怡主演の『初恋のきた道』（1999年）DVD鑑賞。
懐かしい思い出のつまった場所から容易に離れられないのが人情というものであり、それがテーマのこの映画を見て涙しない人物はいないだろう。
それでも、若者はその場所から未来に向けて巣立っていかなければならない、とも思った。
米国の50周年写真集だ。

「・・・オリンパスは担当監査法人を2010年３月期から新日本監査法人に変更している。新日本の前に担当したあずさ監査法人は、受け持ち期間が長いだけ作業量がより多くなると予想されるだけでなく、その監査を踏まえて新日本が作業にあたる流れにある。このため、期限内に四半期報告書を提出するには、あずさによる作業の進捗がカギを握る。複数の関係者によれば、あずさと新日本は、第三者委とも連携しながら、既に監査に向けた予備的な作業に着手している。・・・」

「・・・オリンパスの個人株主が、同社に対して損害賠償請求に乗り出した。損害賠償額が、総額2000億円を超えるともいわれ、債務超過が懸念されている。
オリンパスの有価証券報告書によると、2011年３月期の純資産額は1668億円。もっとも、この数字も水増ししたものとみられ、仮に実際に債務超過になると上場廃止になってしまい、影響は甚大だ。
金融商品取引法では有価証券報告書などの虚偽記載による株主の損害について、会社や当時の役員、監査法人などへの損害賠償請求を認めている。・・・
損害請求額は2000億円前後になるとみられるが、・・・理論的には最大で6000億円の損害になる計算・・・債務超過もより現実味を帯びてくる。・・・
株主は損害を会社に請求＜する＞が、会社も当時の役員や監査法人に対して損害賠償請求で＜る＞。・・・」

The attack on Pearl Harbor awoke America from its isolationist slumber and bolstered its charge into the Pacific war, but it did not spur entry into the European war. That happened when Nazi Germany and fascist Italy declared war on the United States on Dec. 11, compelling Roosevelt to respond in kind — thus committing the United States to a world war.・・・
