また、アフガニスタンで戦死した英兵８名の棺をそれぞれ載せた車の車列を、所属部隊のあるイギリスの町の人々が、町のメインストリートの両側に集って弔意を表している映像、どうもありがとうございました。

昨日自衛隊の元将官（某私大名誉教授）と電話で話したが、世界は主権を制限される時代なので日本は属国ではない、戦前の日本の安保では対露（ソ）は重要だったがワンオブゼムだった、と180度違う見解。

チャンネル桜にでてくる自衛隊幹部の出演者といい、タモガミといい、どうみたって知的レベルが平均的日本人以下で、自衛隊の幹部クラスって碌な人材がいないんじゃないかって気がしてくる。。。

ただ、陸軍軍人の国防思想を対ソ抜きで語れるのか？って疑問が浮かぶんだよなぁ。
1930年以降の歴史を表面的に観れば概ね以下の通りだと思うんだけど、
『日本とアメリカの中国をめぐる対立はプログラムと原則をめぐる対立という性格が強＜く＞、実質的利益という点でむしろ衝突したのは日英であった。
とくに日本が満蒙から華北・華中へと膨張行動を拡大、さらに東南アジアにまで手を伸ばし、「東亜新秩序外交」を実践しようとすると、日英の武力衝突は不可避の形勢となる。
そして「東亜新秩序外交」の展開に、戦略次元での「英米不可分」のイメージが重なったとき、日英戦争の不可避の形勢は、日英米戦争の不可避の状況へと発展した。・・・』

「【ソウル＝前田泰広】日本政府が1970年代後半、日本で犯罪を犯した在日韓国人を韓国に強制退去させようとし、韓国政府が受け入れを拒んでいたことが、韓国政府が12日公開した外交文書で明らかになった。
拒否された日本側は、強制退去対象者を北朝鮮に送還する可能性を韓国側に「暗示」したとしている。
外交文書によると、韓国政府は「韓国に生活基盤がない」などとして強制退去対象者20人の受け入れを拒否。在日韓国大使館は78年７月、「日本政府が北朝鮮に送還することを暗示した」と分析し、「日本との協議で１人の受け入れを決めた」と韓国外務省（現外交通商省）に報告した。

（ワシントンポストは、社論的な記事を載せていなくて逃げているように見える一方、NYタイムスは、結果がこうなるのは分かっていたということか、余りとりあげていない。）
ガーディアンは、茶会は、米国政治においてあなどりがたい大きな存在となったと総括する。↓
